The Whitby Dragon
The Whitby Dragon was carved out of a single piece of lime as a present to my brother. The dragon was inspired by a picture of a Chinese dragon with mixes from pictures of old of St Georges dragon. It was placed on the cliffs near the abbey to add local interest. The wings are only microns thick in places and took the most time to complete.
