The Prof
Gargoyles are a favourite subject of mine. This one was copied from a garden ornament I saw, but he had a couple of friends with him. I intend over time to reunite him with his brothers, but The Prof was the intelligent one out of the bunch. He’s made from Mahogany, stained with a deep red Mahogany to give more depth of colour and polished with beeswax. The glasses were an afterthought, made out of 2 curtain rail rings, pop riveted together. He’s a favourite with kids at displays.
